Since the cruises are scheduled one right after each other, that means that the same afternoon you get on the ship, another set of passengers got off that morning. Those days, which are very busy for the crew and dock workers, are what are referred to as “turnaround day.”
This all happens so seamlessly and like clockwork, but is clearly the busiest day for workers on a cruise ship.
